Christmas Preparations…

…and a pile of edits have got the better of me this week, so I left the blog in the capable paws of The Hound. He promised me he'd come up with something witty, insightful and, erm…

Oh dear.

Seriously, I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who's taken the time to read and  comment on my blog since I started writing it a few months ago. Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

N.B. - No Hounds were harmed in the making of this blog post.

  1. Well at least he had on his hat to protect his modesty.

  2. Mwahahahahahahaha. Those hounds, can't take them anywhere can you? Am hiding this pic from my hound - don't want her getting any funny ideas. In fact, now that I know your hound's such a bad influence I may have to ask my hound to find another boyfriend... will she listen? Unlikely!

  3. Hahaha! Don't be giving the poodles ideas! They said Happy Christmas to the Hound.

  4. haha, your hound is tooo funny and clever! I love it when dogs sleep on their backs (our lab does too!).... although I think our lab would prefer a guinness :)

  5. Tee hee! I can't leave him alone for five minutes, can I?

Jacqueline - I know, just imagine if he'd forgotten to put it on…

    Abi – too late! :D

Nettie – as if he would! He says Happy Christmas back.

Julia - he hardly ever sleeps like this, actually, so I always take photos when he does. It looks so daft - probably because he's so big!

  8. It took me about five minutes to work out what was what in that photo... is that weird? Seriously, I thought for a minute that the Hound had about six legs! :-)

Hope you have a lovely Christmas, Emma!

  10. There's one hound that's not going to give the Baskervilles any trouble tonight! As I write this, my cat is lying in the same position, minus the hat and without even the excuse of mulled wine. I'm sure she'd want to wish the hound a merry Christmas.

  12. Whoa! Thought I'd stumbled across some kind of dodgy dog porn site for a moment there. Full frontal, legs akimbo! Not even a little tartan coat or anything.

    Happy Christmas!
