A New Arrival!

So, I've been a bit slack on the blogging front lately. But in my defence, I'm deep in the Revisions Cave (2 months to deadline for THE FEARLESS, eeeeep!), I've been shadowing a writer friend, the fabulous Cathy Grindrod, who is a writer-in-residence for First Story (more about that in a blog post soon!) and have been busy busy busy with various non-writing-related things too.

Oh, and THIS happened…

Lovely blog readers, meet G-Dog! We were going to wait a bit after losing The Hound, but then this little fella came along… and we couldn't say no! Isn't he ace? I'll hand over the rest of this post to him…
Oh hai! I'm G-Dog!

Handsome chap, aren't I?

Pretty darn cute, too…

I like fetching sticks!

But most of all I like doing this. Zzzzzz…

    1. G-Dog sends a big lick (sadly, or perhaps luckily, there isn't an emoticon for that!)!

  5. How do you find time to write with him asking to play all the time?

    1. Tee hee! Luckily he's a typical greyhound in the house, and likes to stretch out on the sofa and sleep for hours on end!

  9. Hi G-dog. A slobbery hello from Dylan.

  10. Thump thump thump (= my virtual tail wagging as I sit looking at him). Woof. *Cocks head* *sings "how much is that doggie in the window" in Dog* (ie, language that dogs understand. Not dissimilar in principle to the archival Chicken version of Rod Stewart's "do you think I'm sexy?".)

    1. In principle, I said! No, I'm not asking G-Dog whether....Oh eep, I'd better stop before I put my paw further in my muzzle.

    2. LOL, Kit! G-Dog does actually talk back if you make the right noises… dog noises, that is… Oh dear, I'd better stop before I do the paw/muzzle thing too! :D
